In an instant our dating scan changed from a day of joy and excitement to one of profound loss. Faced with losing our first child so early on, we are left with only the briefest of glimpses of them but the hopes and dreams we had for them leave a deep hole in our lives. I can only begin to describe how immensely grateful we felt to receive the memory box. We felt so validated in our desire to treasure the memories of our unborn child and to know that we are not alone in this pain. The thoughtful selection of items and beautiful presentation were wonderful and helped us achieve a fitting send off which I have no doubt will help ease our grief in the future. We would like to express our deepest thanks for being there in our time of need.

On the 12th April 2017 I found out I was pregnant. I had my 12 weeks scan and at 15 weeks I had a letter to go and have a scan at hospital. I didn?t realise something was wrong but on that day 10/07/2017 my whole world came crashing down when I was told my baby might have Trisomy 18 ( Edwards syndrome) I had two amniocentesis which didn?t work so went back a week later for a third. To then be told another week later my prognosis, it was Trisomy 18. After months of a mental battle we decided to have her early to try to spend some time with her before she passed as we were told she might not make it full term and would pass away inside the womb. I gave birth on 22/10/2017 after being induced at 32w1d and met my beautiful little girl Daisy-mae. She was perfect. She had black curly hair and even let us hear her voice before 46mins later passing away. We received the beautiful pack from 4louis from the hospital and I can?t express how beautiful it was and how much it means to be able to have such a thing and have all the handprints and footprints done! I didn?t know this charity was even here until I received this at the hospital and I am truly grateful . I am going to be doing a fundraiser and would like to donate some of the money to 4louis as well as another charity which helped me greatly. My mother in law will also be purchasing 60 pin badges to put as favours on the tables at her wedding to help support such a wonderful charity! Once again thank you :)

Our lovely little boy Max was stillborn on Christmas Eve 2017. We can still scarcely believe that we have lost him, but the memory box that we received, given to us by two of the most wonderful Midwifes at St. Georges Hospital, has been immeasurably comforting to us. Thank you for the beautifully made moses basket and blankets for him and thank you for giving us so many ways in which we can remember him by. We were (and still are) completely lost in all that has happened, and we think we might have lost the opportunity in creating some of the memories of Max that we now have, and cherish, if it hadn?t been for the memory box provided by your kindness. We can?t thank you enough and would like to offer our support to 4Lois in return.

I found out I was pregnant with my first child and Our gorgeous little boy Jacob was born 29/11/17 and became an angel 25 hours later. We found out he had a diaphragmatic hernia at his 20 week scan and we're referred to the fetal medicine unit. Jacob had to be ventilated as soon as he was born and was taken straight to the neonatal unit. He was a little fighter however his lungs were unable to cope. We got to hold our little boy for the remainder of the time he had left. Heartbroken doesn't come close to how I feel.
We were given one of your memory boxes so we could take photos and prints and without these I wouldn't have all these beautiful memories to look back on. You've made everything a bit easier and I am truly grateful. Jacob has one of the small teddies with him and I have the other which brings great comfort as it feels like a connection in some way.
Thank you so much for what you have done xxx Kelly

Our perfect little boy Michael-William was brought into this world sleeping on the 15/2/18 having just have a scan the night before and thinking he had a good chance of survival. For what ever reason that was taking from us within a few hours. Words will never ever ever explain what we are feeling right now or even if this has sunk in yet. However, what we do know is that when we where told we would receive this box we could never have imagined it to be quite so perfect! Totally overwhelmed at the thought and effort of everything that goes into it , the box simply is perfect and I personally don't think you guys realise just how much comfort you bring to families with sleeping babies so for that we will be entirely grateful xxxxx

Our perfect beautiful baby boy, Alfie James Horseman was born sleeping on 14th Feb 2018 at 30 weeks and 3 days. Only 1 day after a midwives appointment where we listened to his perfect heartbeat we suddenly had to say hello and goodbye just 14 hours later. Whilst we have never known pain like we are currently experiencing to be given one of your gift boxes to remember our beautiful son and collect memories in to cherish forever was a comfort. As was to know that we are not alone in what we are experiencing at this deeply sad time. We just wanted to thank you for what you are doing for families that now have sleeping angels.

Our little boy, our Son was born on 5th Feb 2018, sleeping at 21 weeks. The intense feeling of love and loss was over whelming, but with an enormous feeling of being so blessed to have had our baby boy‭ and to have spent some precious time with him. We had our Memory box, Moses basket and his little gown, all of this helped us through a very difficult time and we really appreciated the love and care spent on and with our Son. We will be eternally grateful and will be honoured to do the same for another couple. I?m loving memory of Noah, our Son our Angel xx

Our gorgeous ray of sunshine Summer Louise became an angel on January 13th at 7weeks and 1 day old. The memory box we were given was invaluable in capturing the precious memories of our little girl. We miss our little fighter summer so much and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the brilliant memory box we now have it means the world to us and is helping us both remember our darling daughter at this difficult time Amy and Russ xxxxx

Our baby girl Lily was stillborn on 10 December. We had so little time with her and it was such a shock leaving the hospital without her, it really meant a lot to be able to bring our memory box home, full of memories of our beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much, Rosie and Rakesh xxx
